Choose a folder, build a private inventory and keep your files where they are.

The Windows app is in direct testing. A publicly signed download and automatic updates are not available. Only use the installer supplied directly for your test; do not turn off Windows security to install it.

Start with one folder

Open Sources and choose a specific folder you control. The app does not need administrator access.
Start a scan. You can pause or stop it. Read the completion summary, including any files or streams that could not be checked.
Open Inventory to search your files, check exact duplicates and add your own context. A fingerprint identifies file bytes; it does not prove ownership or market value.

What stays private

The local Windows app reads the folders you choose and keeps its encrypted index on this device. It does not send your source files, paths, notes or fingerprints to Mass Employment. Its library is separate from the browser library. Scanning does not list content for sale, grant rights or approve a delivery.

The app uses Microsoft Edge WebView2. Microsoft diagnostics, SmartScreen checks and crash reporting can make network requests under your Windows settings. Local inventory does not mean that every Windows component is offline.

Fix a problem safely

The encrypted local library could not be opened

Close other copies of the app, then open it again under the same Windows account. The saved index is protected by that account. Do not delete the library, change its permissions or clear the index to work around this error. If it continues, contact support and include the app version and the error text, without private file details.

Some files or streams were skipped

Read the stated reason. Cloud-only files, inaccessible files, links and special entries may be omitted. An alternate stream is extra data attached to a file; skipping it does not necessarily mean the main file was skipped. A completed scan is not a promise that every file was readable. Scan again after you resolve a source problem.

Install an update without losing my library

Finish or stop any scan and close the app before running the supplied installer. Use the same Windows account. A normal upgrade keeps the local index; uninstalling or deleting app data is not an upgrade step. Keep your original source files and, when your app offers encrypted backup, save a backup and keep its passphrase separately.

Why is there no price or buyer request?

Account linking, evidence-backed value estimates, buyer matching and approved delivery are not connected in the local Windows app. Adding context helps organize a review but does not verify rights or create buyer demand. No price is shown without the evidence to support it.

For support, share the version, error text and steps that caused the issue. Do not email source files, your encrypted library, backup passphrases, recovery keys or screenshots containing private paths. Review any diagnostic file before sending it.
